Electronic Composer Inspired Project Work Example

For this project I chose to research a electronic music composer and create an inspired song in their style of work. I chose DJ Steve Porter of PorterHouseMedia. Steve Porter is known for remixing various popular content such as commercials or sports segments, and remixing them into a song or parody video. I only did the audio version of this type of work, but chose to use the late Billy Mays as the subject of this track. Audio Engineering techniques here included editing files, musical editing and arranging, as well as original musical composition, with mixing in Pro Tools and use of effects plug-ins.
